Welcome to my website!
I am Roland Mair-Gruber, a musicologist, composer, and conductor dedicated to researching, analyzing, and performing music. This site offers a glimpse into my multifaceted musical pursuits and academic interests.
My research concentrates on regional music history, arrangement techniques, wind band studies, and video game music. As a conductor, I specialize in leading wind orchestras. My compositional portfolio encompasses film and media scores, works for wind orchestras, and pieces in the realms of jazz and popular music. Furthermore, I create arrangements for wind bands and various ensembles.
